The second obstacle is sin, which cannot be ignored by the Holy God. After all, the Righteous Creator cannot leave a crime unpunished.

And the third obstacle is death, which destroys human nature.

And now the Lord Jesus Christ comes to destroy these barriers, to save man and to make him a god by grace.

The Eternal Son receives flesh from the Virgin Mary, Who was able to give birth to Him without the participation of a man by the power of the Life-Giving Spirit. The one Person of the Son of God begins to exist in two natures, united unmerged, unchanging, inseparable, inseparable. So Christ, while remaining perfect God, became a perfect Man, having a human soul, mind, and will. He did not have only original sin, and He Himself did not do any evil. Thus, through the Incarnation, the first obstacle was overcome – the difference of natures. Both essences, without destroying each other, have been united in One Divine Person, and now, through Christ, we have access to the Father.

Christ came into the world and gave a new law, the law of love, but His main work was to deliver people from evil and sin, and for this death was necessary. After all, life can only be bought at the cost of life. And so Jesus Christ, in order to destroy the barrier of sin, voluntarily takes upon Himself the sins of the whole world. The innocent Righteous One dies for the guilty, takes upon Himself their punishment and curse. His blood becomes a ransom for our sins. He gives blood for blood, soul for soul, body for body, and thus the Truth of God is poured into our hearts. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His wound we were healed, Isaiah 53:5.

He corrects the ancient disobedience of Adam, being obedient to the Father unto death, and death on the cross, shameful, terrible, painful. The Lord becomes the new Adam, the progenitor of redeemed humanity.

As the first man introduced death into the world, so Christ gave eternal life. Instead of the tree of knowledge, there is the Cross, which has become a sign of our victory and salvation. And thus the Justice of God appeared, for it was not just God who defeated the enemy Satan, but Man. The same nature that was taken captive in paradise won on the Cross.

He truly died and was buried. His soul separated from his body and descended into hell. And hell was destroyed by the manifestation of the Divine Radiance. The righteous who believed in Christ ascended to paradise, and since then the road closed by the transgression of the first people has reappeared there. And our ancient enemy, the devil, was chained and deprived of power, as if he had unjustly raised his hand against the Creator. Thus the second wall between God and people – the wall of sin – collapsed, and thus the cause of eternal death, which did not let man go from itself, disappeared.

The Apostle Peter said that death was tormented by the pangs of childbirth when it took Christ into itself, for it could not hold Him (Acts 2:24). And on the third day, Sunday night, He rose from the dead by the power of His Divinity. The resurrected Jesus became the Firstborn from the dead, the Firstborn, that is, the first sheaf of the new harvest of the resurrected. Death was annihilated, and from Easter morning began the reverse course of world history – the process of the resurrection of all the dead. Thus the last wall between the Creator and people collapsed. Through the sacrament of baptism, uniting with the sinless Christ, people are freed from original sin and receive immortality. Those who come to Him will be resurrected like Him and will reign with Him forever.

Сейчас Господь Иисус восседает по правую сторону (одесную) Отца, и как Человек участвует в управлении миром. Он до сих пор является вечным Первосвященником, Который всегда жив, чтобы ходатайствовать за нас пред Отцом, быть единственным Посредником между Богом и людьми, и уничтожать грехи христиан Своей Кровью. И Он ожидает окончания проповеди Церкви, собирающей в Царство всех спасенных. Когда эта миссия будет завершена, Христос вновь вернется на землю, и враги Его будут брошены под ноги Его.

Второе Пришествие Господа Иисуса будет не таким как первое. Он придет на землю уже не как Спаситель, а как Праведный Судья. По Его слову при пении трубы архангела воскреснут все мертвые. Все человечество с первого человека и до последнего соберется перед Его троном.

Тогда Господь воздаст каждому по делам его. Праведники получат вечную жизнь, а грешники вместе с сатаной будут брошены в вечный огонь. Так будет восстановлена полная справедливость. Всякое добро будет вознаграждено, а зло наказано. А после суда наступит вечное Царство славы, которое больше никогда не кончится. В нем не будет ни смерти, ни болезней, ни печали, ни греха, но только всевозрастающая радость.

Как мы говорили, мусульмане верят в то, что, будто бы, ранние христиане не признавали Христа Богом и Сыном Божиим, не знали о Его распятии и смерти, и не верили в Триединого Бога, но лишь века спустя стали появляться такие учения. Почему христиане не могут согласиться с этой мусульманской гипотезой?
