«...Иисус Наставник, помилуй нас!»

Psalm 5: "Hear, O Lord, my words, understand my thoughts. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, O my King and my God, for I pray unto thee. O Lord, hear my voice early; I will come before Thee early, and I will wait, for Thou art God, Who loveth not iniquity; the wicked shall not dwell with Thee; the wicked shall not abide in Thy sight; You hate all who do iniquity. Thou shalt destroy those who speak lies; the bloodthirsty and treacherous is abhorred by the Lord. But I, according to the abundance of Thy mercy, will enter into Thy house, and worship Thy holy temple in Thy fear. O Lord, guide me in Thy righteousness, for the sake of my enemies; level Thy way before me. For there is no truth in their mouths; their heart is destruction, their throat is an open grave; flatter with their tongues. Condemn them, O God, that they may fall from their designs; according to the multitude of their wickedness, cast them away, for they have rebelled against thee. And all who trust in Thee shall rejoice; they shall rejoice for ever, and Thou shalt protect them; and they that love thy name shall glory in thee. For Thou dost bless the righteous, O Lord; with goodwill, as with a shield, you crown him."

Psalm 89: "Lord, Thou art our refuge for generations from generation to generation. Before the mountains were born, Thou didst form the earth and the universe, and from everlasting to everlasting Thou art God. You bring man back to corruption and say, "Return, sons of men!" For a thousand years are before Thy eyes, as the day of yesterday, when it was past, and as a watch in the night. Thou hast carried them away as by a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that grows in the morning, blooms and turns green in the morning, and is cut and withers in the evening. For we perish from Thy wrath, and from Thy wrath we are troubled. Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, and our secrets before the light of Thy countenance. All our days have passed in Thy wrath; We lose our years like a sound. The days of our years are seventy years, and with great strength eighty years; and the best time for them is labor and illness, for they pass quickly and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thy wrath, and thy wrath according to the measure of thy fear? Teach us to number our days in such a way that we may gain a wise heart. Turn, O Lord! As long as? Have compassion on Thy servants. Feed us early with Thy mercy, and we shall rejoice and be glad all our days. Rejoice us in the days in which Thou hast smitten us; for the years in which we saw disaster. Let Thy work be manifested upon Thy servants, and Thy glory upon their sons; and may the good pleasure of the Lord our God be upon us; and in the work of our hands help us, in the work of our hands help us."

Psalm 100: "I will sing mercy and judgment; To Thee, O Lord, I will sing. I will meditate on the blameless path: "When will You come to me?" I will walk in the chastity of my heart in the midst of my house. I will not put before my eyes things that are useless; I hate criminal deeds; it will not cleave to me. A depraved heart will be removed from me; I will not know evil. He who secretly slanders his neighbor I will cast out; I will not tolerate the proud in the eyes and the haughty in heart. My eyes are turned to the faithful of the earth, that they may abide with me; whoever walks in the way of integrity will serve me. He who does deceit will not dwell in my house; He who speaketh falsehood shall not remain before my eyes. Early in the morning I will destroy all the wicked of the earth, that I may root out of the city of the Lord all those who do iniquity."

Glory even now. "Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Thee, O God" (three times with bows). "Lord, have mercy" (three times). Glory: Troparion of the day. And now: (Theotokos) "How shall we call Thee, O Blessed One: heaven, for Thou hast manifested the Sun of righteousness; Paradise, for Thou hast brought forth the Unfading Flower; A virgin, for Thou hast remained incorruptible; The Most-Pure Mother, for Thou didst bear in Thy holy arms the Son, the God of all. Pray to Him for the salvation of our souls." "Establish my feet in Thy word, and do not let any iniquity take possession of me; deliver me from the oppression of man, and I will keep Thy commandments; shine upon Thy servant with the light of Thy countenance, and teach me Thy statutes" (Psalm 118; 133-135). "Let my lips be filled with praise, that I may sing of Thy glory, Thy splendor all the day" (Psalm 70:8). "Holy God..." according to the "Our Father..." Kontakion of a saint or feast. If the kontakion is sung, as well as on the following days of the Forty Days, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: "Let us unceasingly sing the Most Glorious Mother of God, the Most Holy of the Holy Angels, with our hearts and lips, confessing Her to be the Mother of God, as having truly given birth to us God in the flesh and unceasingly praying for our souls." On Wednesday and Friday: "Come quickly to help, O Christ our God, before we become enslaved to the enemies who blaspheme Thee and threaten us, and defeat those who fight us with Thy Cross, O Only Lover of mankind, through the prayers of the Mother of God, so that they may understand how strong the Orthodox Faith is."

On Saturday: "To Thee, O Lord, Planter of creation, the universe beareth God-bearing martyrs as the first ripe fruits. Through their prayers and through the intercession of the Mother of God, preserve, O Most Merciful One, Thy Church and Thy people in deep peace."

"Lord, have mercy" (40 times). "At all times and at every hour Thou dost receive worship and glorification in heaven and on earth, O Christ God, long-suffering, abundantly merciful, and merciful, loving the righteous and having mercy on sinners, calling all to thee? salvation with the promise of future blessings! Thou Thyself, O Lord, accept our prayers at this hour and direct our lives according to Thy commandments; sanctify our souls, purify our bodies, make our thoughts right, purify our thoughts, and deliver us from all sorrow, evil, and suffering; Protect us with Thy holy Angels, that we, preserved and led by their hosts, may come to be united in faith and to the knowledge of Thy unapproachable glory, for Thou art blessed unto the ages of ages. Amen."

"Lord, have mercy" (three times). Glory even now. "More honorable than the Cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, Who gave birth to God the Word, the True Mother of God, we magnify Thee." "In the name of the Lord, bless, father." Priest: "O God, have mercy on us and bless us, illumine us with Thy face and have mercy on us" (Psalm 66:2).

O Lord the King, let me see my transgressions and not condemn my brother, for Thou art blessed forever and ever. Amen." 12 small (waist) bows with the prayer: "God, cleanse me, a sinner", and one earthly bow with the prayer of Ephraim the Syrian. "The Trisagion" according to the "Our Father...". Lord, have mercy" (12 times). Prayer: "Christ, true Light; Enlightening and sanctifying every person who comes into the world! May the light of Thy countenance be reflected upon us, that we may see in Him a light that is inaccessible, and direct our paths to the fulfillment of Thy commandments, through the prayers of Thy Most-Pure Mother and all Thy saints. Amen."

THIRD HOUR.

(see beginning in 1 hour). "Come, let us worship our King God. Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King God. Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, our King and God."

Psalm 16: "Hear, O Lord, my righteousness, hearken unto my cry; Accept a supplication from the lips of those who do not lie. In Thy presence let judgment come forth unto me; let Thy eyes behold righteousness. Thou hast searched my heart, visited me by night, tempted me, and found nothing; My lips do not depart from my thoughts. In the affairs of men, according to the word of Thy mouth, I have guarded myself from the ways of the oppressor. Establish my steps in Thy ways, let not my feet waver. To Thee I cry, for Thou shalt hear me, O God; incline thy ear unto me, hear my words. Manifest Thy wondrous mercy, O Saviour, of those who trust in Thee from those who resist Thy right hand; keep me as the apple of your eye; in the shadow of Thy wings, hide me from the face of the wicked who attack me, from the enemies of my soul that surround me. They have shut their hearts, they speak haughtily with their mouths; at every step of ours they now surround us; they set their eyes to bring me down to the ground; they are like a lion thirsting for prey, like a lion cub sitting in hidden places. Arise, O Lord, warn them, bring them down. Deliver my soul from the wicked with Thy sword, from men by Thy hand, O Lord, from the people of the world, whose portion is in this life, whose belly Thou fillest out of Thy treasuries, their sons are full, and will leave the remnant to their children. But I will behold Thy face in righteousness; when I am awake, I will be satisfied with Thy image."
