«...Иисус Наставник, помилуй нас!»

Psalm 85: "Incline Thy ear, O Lord, and hear me, for I am poor and needy. Save my soul, for I revere Thee; save, O my God, Thy servant who trusts in Thee. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call upon Thee every day. Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, for to Thee, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For Thou, O Lord, art good and merciful, and abundant in mercy unto all that call upon Thee. Hear, O Lord, my prayer, and hearken unto the voice of my supplication. In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee, for Thou shalt hear me. There is none among the gods like Thee, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine. All the nations that Thou hast created shall come and worship Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name, for Thou art great and doest wonders. You, God, are the only one. Guide me, O Lord, in Thy way, and I will walk in Thy truth; strengthen my heart in the fear of Thy name. I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and praise Thy name for ever. For great is Thy mercy to me; Thou hast delivered my soul from the hell of hell. O God, the proud have risen up against me, and a crowd of rebels seek my soul; they do not present Thee before them. But Thou, O Lord, God Generous and Merciful, Long-suffering, Most Merciful and True, look upon me and have mercy on me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thy servant; show me a sign for good, that they that hate me may see and be ashamed, for thou, O Lord, hast helped me and comforted me." Show me a sign for good, that they that hate me may see and be ashamed, for thou, O Lord, hast helped me and comforted me

Do not despise, O Good One, those created by Thy hand; Show Thy love for mankind, O Most Merciful, accept the Mother of God who prays for us, Who gave birth to Thee, and save, O our Saviour, the people of the outcasts."

O Lord, Who endureth all things, remember me in Thy kingdom." Glory: "In the midst of two thieves, Thy cross served as a measure of justice, bringing one down to hell for cruel blasphemy; and the other, through the knowledge of theology, alleviating from sins, O Christ God, glory to Thee"And now: "Seeing Thee, Lamb and Shepherd and Saviour of the world, seeing Thee on the Cross, Who gave birth to Thee cried out with tears: The world rejoices, receiving deliverance; but my heart burns when I see Thy crucifixion, which Thou sufferest for the whole world, my Son and God." The prayer of St. St. Basil the Great: "O Lord, Lord Jesus Christ our God, Who hast long endured our sins and hast preserved us until this hour, in which, hanging on the life-giving Tree, Thou hast opened the way to paradise for the wise thief and destroyed death by death. Have mercy on us, Thy sinful and unworthy servants, for we have sinned, and have done iniquity, and are unworthy to lift up our eyes, and to look upon the heights of heaven, for we have forsaken the way of Thy righteousness, and have walked according to the will of our hearts. But we beseech Thy immeasurable goodness: have mercy on us, O Lord, according to Thy great mercy, and save us for the sake of the blessing of Thy Holy Name, for in light-mindedness our days have perished. Deliver us from the hand of the adversary, forgive us our sins and put to death our carnal thoughts, so that, having taken off the old man, we may put on the new and live for Thee, our Lord and Benefactor, and, following Thy commandments, thus reach the place of eternal rest, where all those who rejoice are dwelled. For Thou art indeed the true gladness and joy of those who love Thee, O Christ our God, and we send glory to Thee, with Thy Father without beginning, and Thy All-Holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of eternity. Amen."

Psalms: 102 (p. 27) and 145: "Praise, my soul. Gentlemen. I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing to my God as long as I exist. Do not put your trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit goes out, and he returns to his land; By that day all his thoughts are gone. Blessed is he whose Helper is the God of Jacob, who has hope in the Lord his God, who created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who is forever faithful, who does justice to the oppressed, who gives bread to the hungry. The Lord looses the prisoners, the Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord raises up the bent. The Lord loves the righteous. The Lord preserves the strangers, supports the fatherless and the widow, but perverts the way of the wicked. The Lord will reign forever. Thy God, O Zion, for generations and generations."
