«...Иисус Наставник, помилуй нас!»

(1 Corinthians 10:16-17): "Is not the bread which we break a communion of the Body of Christ? One bread, and we many are one body; for we all partake of the same bread."

Chapter 4. The one who communes of the Holy Mysteries must sing hymns to the Lord.

(Matthew 26:26): "And while they were eating, Jesus took bread, and having blessed, he broke it, and giving it to the disciples, he said," and so on. To this he adds (Matt. 26:30): "And having sung, they went to the Mount of Olives."

Rule 22.

How one is alienated from God, and by means of which he becomes close to God

Chapter 1. The committing of sin is from God, and by means of which it is made close to God.

(John 8:34): "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is a slave of sin."

(John 8:44): "Your father is the devil; and you want to fulfill the lusts of your father."

(Romans 6:20): "For when you were slaves to sin, then you were free from righteousness."

Chapter 2. Intimacy with the Lord is known not by carnal kinship, but by thoroughness in fulfilling the will of God.

(John 8:47): "He who is of God hears the words of God."

(Luke 8:20-21): "And they made it known to Him, 'Your mother and brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You. He answered and said to them, 'My mother and My brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it.'"

(Ин.15:14): «Вы друзья Мои, если исполняете то, что Я заповедую вам».

(Рим.8:14): «Ибо все, водимые Духом Божиим, суть сыны Божии».
