The New Testament is for children. The Acts of the Holy Apostles

And because of faith in his name, his name has strengthened this one whom you see and know, and the faith that is from him has granted him this healing before you all.

Yet I know, brethren, that you, like your rulers, have done this in ignorance;

And God, as he foretold by the mouth of all his prophets that Christ should suffer, so he fulfilled.

Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,

Let the times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord, and may he send Jesus Christ, whom he has ordained for you,

Whom heaven was to receive until the time of the accomplishment of all that God had spoken through the mouth of all his holy prophets from all eternity.

Moses said to the fathers, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you from among your brethren a prophet like me: obey him in all that he says to you;

And it shall come to pass that every soul that heareth not that prophet shall be cut off from the people.

And all the prophets, from Samuel and after him, however many they spoke, also foretold these days.

Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God commanded unto your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

And God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him first unto you, to bless you, turning every one away from your evil works.
