The Gospel of John
11. She answered, "No one, Lord." Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.
12. Again Jesus spoke to the people and said to them, "I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
13. Then the Pharisees said to him, "You bear witness to yourself, your testimony is not true."
14. Jesus answered and said to them, "If I testify of myself, my testimony is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I am going; but you do not know whence I am and whither I am going.
15. You judge according to the flesh; I don't judge anyone.
16. And if I judge, my judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I am also the Father who sent me.
17. And it is written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.
18. I bear witness to myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness to me.
19. Then they said to him, "Where is your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My Father; if you had known me, you would have known my Father also.
20. These are the words Jesus spoke at the treasury when he was teaching in the temple; and no man took him, because his hour had not yet come.
21. Again Jesus said to them, "I am departing, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin." Where I go, you cannot come.
22. Then the Jews said, "Will He kill Himself, that He says, 'Where I am going, you cannot come'?
23. He said to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.
24. Therefore I told you that you would die in your sins; for if you do not believe that it is I, you will die in your sins.
