because they have done evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt until this day.

And Manasseh also shed a great deal of innocent blood, so that he filled Jerusalem with it from one end to the other, beyond his sin, that he led Judah into sin, to do evil in the sight of the Lord.

The rest of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sins, wherein he sinned, are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzzah. And Ammon his son reigned in his stead.

And Ammon was twenty-two years when he reigned, and two years he reigned in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Meshullemeph, the daughter of Harutz, of Yatbah.

And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasseh his father did;

And he walked the same way that his father walked, and served the idols which his father served, and worshipped them,

And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.

And the servants of Ammon conspired against him, and slew the king in his house.

But the people of the earth slew all that were in the conspiracy against king Ammon; And the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

The rest of the things which he did concerning Ammon are written in the chronicle of the kings of Judah.

And they buried him in his sepulchre, in the garden of Uzza. And Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
