19 And I command you to say to them, 'Do this: take for yourselves out of the land of Egypt chariots for your children and for your wives, and bring your father, and come;

20 and spare not your goods, for I will give you the best of all the land of Egypt.

21 And so did the children of Israel. And Joseph gave them chariots according to Pharaoh's commandment, and gave them a supply of travel;

22 And he gave to each of them a change of garments, and to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of garments.

23 And he also sent unto his father ten asses, laden with the best produce of Egypt, and ten asses, laden with corn, and bread, and provisions for his father's journey.

24 And he sent his brethren away, and they went. And he said to them, "Do not quarrel on the road."

25 And they went out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan to Jacob their father,

26 And they made word of him, saying, Joseph is alive, and now he has dominion over all the land of Egypt. But his heart was troubled, for he did not believe them.

27 And when they had told him all the words of Joseph which he had spoken to them, and when he saw the chariots which Joseph had sent to carry him, then the spirit of Jacob their father lived,

28 And Israel said, 'This is enough, for my son Joseph is still alive; I will go and see him until I die.

Chapter 46

1 And Israel went with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

2 And God said to Israel in a vision of the night, "Jacob! Jacob! He said, Here I am.

3 God said, I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go into Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation;
