5 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cease thy indignation against us.
6 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever, that thou wilt extend thy wrath from generation to generation?
7 Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?
8 Show us, O Lord, thy mercy, and grant us thy salvation.
9 I will hear what the Lord God says. He will say peace to His people and to His elect, but let them not fall into folly again.
10 Thus, his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
11 Mercy and truth shall meet, righteousness and peace shall kiss each other;
12 Truth will spring up from the earth, and righteousness will come down from heaven;
13 And the Lord shall give good, and our land shall yield its fruit;
14 righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his feet in the way.

2 Keep my soul, for I revere Thee; save, O my God, Thy servant who trusts in Thee.
3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call upon thee every day.
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant, for to thee, O Lord, I lift up my soul,
5 For thou, O Lord, art gracious, and merciful, and abundant in mercy unto all that call upon thee.
6 Hear, O Lord, my prayer, and hearken unto the voice of my supplication.
7 In the day of my trouble I call upon thee, for thou shalt hear me.
8 There is none among the gods like you, O Lord, and there are no works like yours.
9 All the nations that you have created will come and worship you, O Lord, and glorify your name,
