11 Deliver me, and deliver me out of the hand of the children of nations, whose lips speak vain things, and whose right hand is the right hand of falsehood.

12 Let our sons be like overgrown plants in their youth; our daughters are like elaborately carved pillars in palaces.

13 Let our barns be full, abundant in all kinds of bread; let our sheep multiply by thousands and thousands in our pastures;

14 Let our oxen be fat; let there be no plunder, no loss, no crying in our streets.

E-15 Blessed is the people that have these things. Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord.

Psalm 144

Praise of David.

1 I will exalt thee, O my God, my King, and bless thy name for ever and ever.

2 All day long I will bless thee, and praise thy name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord, and praiseworthy, and his majesty is unsearchable.

4 Generation to generation shall praise thy works, and declare thy might.

5 But I will meditate on the high glory of Thy majesty, and on Thy wondrous works.

6 They will speak of the power of Thy dreadful works, and I will proclaim Thy greatness.

7 They shall proclaim the remembrance of thy great goodness, and sing praises of thy righteousness.

8 The Lord is merciful and merciful, long-suffering and abundant in mercy.

9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are in all his works.

10 Let all thy works praise thee, O Lord, and let thy saints bless thee;

11 let them proclaim the glory of thy kingdom, and let them tell of thy might,

12 To make known to the children of men of thy might, and of the glorious majesty of thy kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is the kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion endureth to all generations. [The Lord is faithful in all His words and holy in all His works.]

14 The Lord upholds all those who fall, and raises up all those who are cast down.
