36 And thou shalt make a polished tablet of pure gold, and engrave on it, as is engraved on a seal, 'Holiness of the Lord,'

37 And you shall fasten it with a blue cord to the kidar, so that it may be on the front side of the kedar;

38 And she shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear upon her the defects of the offerings which are consecrated from the children of Israel, and of all the gifts which they offer; and it shall be continually upon his forehead, for the good pleasure of the Lord towards them.

39 And thou shalt make a tunic of fine linen, and a kidar of fine linen, and make a belt of ornamented workmanship;

40 Thou shalt make tunics also for the children of Aaron, and thou shalt make them girdles, and headbands for their glory and splendor,

41 And thou shalt clothe thy brother Aaron therein, and his sons with him, and thou shalt anoint them, and thou shalt fill their hands, and consecrate them, and they shall be priests unto me.

42 And thou shalt make them a linen undergarment to cover their nakedness, from the loins to the shins,

43 And they shall be upon Aaron and upon his sons, when they enter into the tent of meeting, or come to the altar to minister in the sanctuary, lest they sin and die. This is an everlasting statute, [let it be] for him and for his descendants according to it.

Chapter 29

1 This is what thou shalt do unto them, that thou mayest ordain them to be priests unto me: Thou shalt take one bullock of the oxen, and two rams without blemish,

2 And of unleavened bread, and of unleavened bread mingled with oil, and of unleavened cakes anointed with oil, thou shalt make them of fine flour,

3 And thou shalt put them in one basket, and bring them in a basket, and together the bullock, and the two rams.

4 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of meeting, and wash them with water.

5 And thou shalt take the garments, and clothe Aaron with the tunic, and with the upper garment, with the ephod and with the breastplate, and thou shalt gird him according to the ephod;
