And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, and came to Bethpage unto the mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

And he said unto them, Go ye into the village which is directly before you; and immediately you will find a donkey tied up, and a young ass with it; when you have untied it, bring it to me;

and if any man shall say anything unto you, answer that the Lord has need of them; and immediately he will send them.

And all these things came to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, who saith,

Say unto the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, sitting on an ass, and on a colt, the son of a foal.

And the disciples went and did as Jesus had commanded them,

And they brought the ass and the colt, and put their garments upon them, and he sat on top of them.

And the multitude of the people spread their garments by the way, and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the way;

And the people who preceded and accompanied cried out, Hosanna to the Son of David! blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

And when he had entered into Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred, saying, 'Who is this?'

And the people said, 'This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.'

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all those who were selling and buying in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the benches of those who were selling pigeons,

And he said to them, 'It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer.' but you have made it a den of thieves.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
