18 And he who had received one talent went and buried it in the ground, and hid his master's money.

19 And after a long time, the lord of those servants cometh and demands an account of them.

20 And he that hath received five talents shall come near, and shall bring forth the other five talents, and saith, Lord! Five talents thou hast given me; behold, the other five talents I have gained with them.

21 And his lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant! in a few things you have been faithful, I will set you over many; enter into the joy of your master.

22 And he that had received the two talents also came near, and said, Lord! Two talents thou hast given me; behold, the other two talents I have acquired with them.

23 And his lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant! in a few things you have been faithful, I will set you over many; enter into the joy of your master.

24 And he who had received one talent also came near, and said, 'Lord! I knew thee that thou wast a cruel man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not scattered;

25 And being afraid, he went and hid thy talent in the ground; Here's yours for you.

26 And his lord answered and said unto him, 'Wicked servant and slothful! Thou knowest that I reap where I have not sown, and I gather where I have not scattered;

27 Therefore it behooved thee to give my money to the merchants, and when I came, I should have received mine with profit.

28 Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents,

29 For to everyone who has it will be given, and it will be multiplied, but from him who does not have it will be taken away even that which he has.

30 but cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And when he had said this, he cried out, Whosoever hath ears to hear, let him hear.

31 And when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory,
