The Psalter of the Prophet David (in Russian translation by P. Yungerov)

O Lord my God! In Thee have I trusted, save me from all those who persecute me, and deliver me. Let not (the enemy) snatch away my soul like a lion, when there is no deliverer and savior. O Lord my God! If I have done anything, if there is iniquity in my hands, If I have avenged myself on those who repay me evil, let me fall exhausted by my enemies, Let the enemy pursue my soul, and let him overtake me, and trample my life into the ground, and let my glory be reduced to dust. Arise, O Lord, in Thy wrath, exalt thyself on the borders of Thy enemies, and be lifted up, O Lord my God, according to the command which Thou hast commanded. And a host of nations shall surround thee, and above them ascend on high. The Lord judges the nations. Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to the kindness that I have. May the wickedness of sinners cease, and correct the righteous, O God, Who searchest hearts and bowels in righteousness. My help is from God, Who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous and mighty judge, and long-suffering, and not provoking wrath daily. If ye do not convert, he will sharpen his weapon, he has drawn his bow and prepared it, and in it he has prepared the instruments of death, he has made his arrows for those who are burned. Behold, he fell ill with iniquity, conceived malice, and gave birth to iniquity. He has dug a pit and deepened it, but he will fall into the pit which he has made: His wickedness shall be turned upon his head, and his iniquity shall come down upon the crown of his head. I confess to the Lord according to His righteousness, and sing the name of the Lord Most High.

8. In the end. About winepresses. Psalm of David.

Lord, our Lord! How wonderful is Thy name throughout all the earth! For Thy majesty is exalted above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast ordained praise for the sake of Thy enemies, that Thou mayest destroy the enemy and the avenger. How shall I look upon the heavens, the works of Thy fingers, upon the moon and the stars which Thou hast founded, What is man, that Thou rememberest him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou hast humbled him with little more than the angels, Thou hast crowned him with glory and honor, And hast set him over the works of Thy hands, Thou hast subdued all things under his feet: All the sheep and oxen, and also the cattle of the field, The fowls of the air, and the fish of the sea, which pass through the paths of the sea. Lord, our Lord! How wonderful is Thy name throughout all the earth!

Glory:

According to the 1st kathisma, the Trisagion, the Most Holy Trinity, Our Father.

And these troparia, tone 1:

In iniquity, having conceived, I, the prodigal, do not dare to gaze upon the heights of Heaven, but, daring to love Thy humanity, I call: O God, cleanse me, a sinner, and save me. If the righteous are scarcely saved, where shall I appear, sinner? I did not bear the hardships and heat of the day, but with the mercenaries of the tenth hour count me, O God, and save me. Glory: Open the embrace of the Father, O thou who hast fornicated my life, behold Thy mercies, O Saviour, that my heart which is now impoverished, may not despise me. For Thee, O Lord, I call with tenderness: those who have sinned in Heaven and before Thee. And now: The hope of Christians, O Most Holy Virgin, Whom Thou didst give birth to God more than the mind and the word, pray unceasingly with the heavenly powers to grant the forgiveness of sins, to all of us and the correction of our lives, to those who ever honor Thee by faith and love.

Lord, have mercy (40) and the prayer:

For Thou art God, Good and Lover of mankind, and unto Thee do we send up glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, Amen.

9. In the end. About the secrets of the son. Psalm of David.

I will confess to Thee, O Lord, with all my heart, I will tell all Thy miracles. I will rejoice and rejoice in Thee, I will sing praises to Thy name, O Most High, When my enemy turns back: they shall faint and perish at Thy presence. For Thou hast decided my judgment and my lawsuit: He who judges righteousness is seated on the throne. Thou hast punished the nations, and the wicked have perished. Thou hast blotted out his name for ever and ever. The enemy's weapons are utterly exhausted, and Thou hast destroyed the cities: the memory of him perished with a noise. But the Lord abides eternally, He has prepared His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness, He will judge people in righteousness. And the Lord was a refuge for the poor, a helper at the right time, in sorrows. And let them that know thy name trust in thee, for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord. Sing unto the Lord who dwelleth in Zion, and proclaim His works among the nations: For when He sought for their blood, He remembered, and did not forget the cry of the poor. Have mercy on me, O Lord! Behold my humiliation from my enemies, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion. Let us rejoice in Thy salvation. The nations are steeped in the destruction which they have made: in the snare which they hid their foot is entangled. The Lord is known when he executes judgments: the sinner is stuck in the works of his hands. Let sinners go to hell, all nations that forget God. For the poor will not be forgotten forever, the patience of the poor will not perish to the end. Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail, let the nations be judged before Thee. Set a lawgiver, O Lord, over them, that the nations may know that they are men. Why hast Thou, O Lord, stood afar off? Do you despise prosperity (and) sorrow? When the wicked are proud, the beggar is irritated: they get bogged down in the plans that they deliberate. For the sinner is praised for the lusts of his soul, and the offender is approved. The sinner provoked the Lord, because of his great boldness (saying): "He will not seek." There is no God before him. His ways are defiled at all times, Thy judgments are removed from his presence, he rules over all his enemies. For he said in his heart, I will not be shaken, for from generation to generation I will be without evil. His lips are full of oaths, bitterness, and flattery, and on his tongue are torment and malice. He sits in ambush, in hiding places, with the rich, to kill the innocent, his eyes peeping at the beggar. He lies in wait in a secret place, like a lion in his den, he lies in wait to seize the beggar, to seize the beggar, having attracted him with his net. He will humble him, bend down and fall, when he possesses the poor. For he said in his heart, "God has forgotten, he has turned away his face, that he may never see." Arise, O Lord my God! Let Thy hand be lifted up, and forget not Thy poor to the end. Why did the wicked anger God? Because he said in his heart, "He will not seek." (But) You see, for You look at suffering and anger. Let him be delivered into Thy hands: To Thee is given the beggar, Thou shalt be a helper to the fatherless. Break the arm of the sinner and the wicked, so that his sin may be sought and not found. The Lord is King for ever and ever. Disappear, you heathen, from His land! Thou hast heard the desire of the poor, O Lord: Thy ear has hearkened to the devotion of their hearts. Justify the fatherless and the humble, so that man may no longer continue to exalt himself on earth.
