I will praise the Lord, I will

To sing praise and rejoice from the heart,

I will triumph, proclaim

The deed of God, the Lord's miracle.

With my hand Thou dost execute judgment, O God;

My enemies do not flee before me,

And they are afraid of your face.

And the wicked, no matter how hard they try to be saved,

On the battlefield they will find destruction.

Thou hast given me the wicked to trample underfoot,

When he did not stretch out his shield over them,

He snatched the weapon and with his hand

About all of them forever erased the memory.

Who created the world according to His laws,

Who judges us according to His righteousness,

You will be the hope of the oppressed,

Turn away my destruction too,

Calm my innumerable troubles.
