Psalms-Psalter in translations (arrangements) in verse

With the hard-hearted, you are hard-hearted.

Thou shalt not judge him who is pure harshly

And you exalt those who are oppressed.

And to those who are proud, who are haughty,

Thou hast humbled the eye of the haughty.

My eye, O God, is not haughty,

For this, my lamp invariably

You kindle, enlighten the darkness,

If you are with me, I climb the walls,

Nor am I afraid of the most terrible enemy.

O Lord, Thy palace is bright,

And the word is pure, though sometimes strict.

Is there a God in the world besides God?

And who is our defense but God?

Protecting us from wrong deeds,

You open our eyelids to us, the blind.

And you instruct on the tops of some,

Where is our place, but also our limit.

Thou givest with Thy all-powerful hand

My legs are like a deer and become

And you teach your hand the work of warfare

And strain the muscle of a heavy onion.

You are my shield, my salvation, and in the time of battle

I may be stronger than all people,

Sustained by the right hand of good

And exalted by Thy mercy.

O Lord, my step is by Your will

Now he is both firm and unshakable,

I do not return to my camp until

All the enemies will not fall on the battlefield

Or they will not fall at my feet.

But now all the enemies are put to shame.

Only for this reason have I slain many of them;

What, having girded my camp for war,

You yourself threw the rebels at my feet.
