1 После этого был праздник иудейский, и пришел Иисус в Иерусалим. 2 Есть в Иерусалиме у Овечьих ворот водоём, называемый по-еврейски Вифезда, с пятью крытыми ходами. 3 В них лежало множество больных: слепых, хромых, сухих [ожидающих движения воды. 4 Ибо ангел Господень время от времени сходил в водоём и возмущал воду, и первый, кто входил по возмущении воды, выздоравливал, каким бы ни был одержим недугом][113] 5 Был там некий человек, тридцать восемь лет страдавший болезнью своей. 6 Иисус, увидев его лежащим и узнав, что он уже много времени болен, говорит ему: хочешь ли стать здоровым? 7 Ответил Ему больной: господин, нет у меня человека, чтобы опустить меня в водоём, когда возмутится вода. А пока я иду, другой раньше меня спускается. 8 Говорит ему Иисус: встань, возьми постель твою и ходи. 9 И тотчас стал здоровым человек и взял постель свою и начал ходить. А была суббота в тот день. 10 Поэтому говорили иудеи исцеленному: сегодня суббота, и нельзя тебе брать постели. 11 Он же ответил им: Тот, Кто сделал меня здоровым, Он мне и сказал: возьми постель твою и ходи. 12 Спросили его: кто этот Человек, Который сказал тебе: возьми и ходи? 13 Исцеленный же не знал, кто Он. Ибо Иисус скрылся, пользуясь тем, что на этом месте была толпа. 14 После этого нашел его Иисус в храме и сказал ему: вот ты стал здоровым — больше не греши, чтобы не случилось с тобой чего худшего. 15 Пошел человек и сказал иудеям, что здоровым сделал его Иисус. 16 Потому и начали гнать иудеи Иисуса, что Он это делал в субботу. 17 Но Он ответил им: Отец Мой доныне делает, и Я делаю. 18 И потому тем более искали иудеи убить Его, что Он не только нарушал субботу, но и Отцом Своим называл Бога, делая Себя равным Богу. 19 Сказал же им Иисус в ответ: истинно, истинно говорю вам: не может Сын творить Сам по Себе ничего, если не видит Отца творящим: ибо что Он творит, то и Сын творит так же. 20 Ибо Отец любит Сына и показывает Ему всё, что Сам творит, и покажет Ему дела больше этих, чтобы вы удивлялись. 21 Ибо как Отец воздвигает мертвых и животворит, так и Сын, кого хочет, животворит. 22 Ибо и Отец не судит никого, но суд весь дал Сыну, 23 чтобы все чтили Сына, как чтят Отца. Кто не чтит Сына, не чтит Отца, пославшего Его. 24 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: слово Мое слушающий и верящий Пославшему Меня имеет жизнь вечную и на суд не приходит, но перешел из смерти в жизнь. 25 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: приходит час, и теперь есть, когда мертвые услышат голос Сына Божия, и услышавшие оживут. 26 Ибо, как Отец имеет жизнь в Самом Себе, так дал Он и Сыну иметь жизнь в Самом Себе, 27 и дал Ему власть суд творить, потому что Он — сын человека. 28 Не удивляйтесь этому, потому что приходит час, когда все, находящиеся в могилах, услышат голос Его, 29 и выйдут: сотворившие благое — в воскресение жизни, сделавшие злое — в воскресение суда. 30 Не могу Я Сам по Себе творить ничего: как слышу, сужу, и суд Мой праведен, потому что не ищу воли Моей, но воли Пославшего Меня. 31 Если Я свидетельствую о Самом Себе, свидетельство Мое не истинно. 32 Свидетельствует о Мне Другой, и знаю, что истинно то свидетельство, которым Он свидетельствует о Мне. 33 Вы посылали к Иоанну, и он засвидетельствовал об истине. 34 Не от человека Я принимаю свидетельство, но говорю это, чтобы вы были спасены. 35 Он был светильник горящий и светящий, и вы хотели недолгое время возликовать при свете его. 36 Но у Меня свидетельство больше Иоаннова, ибо дела, которые дал Мне Отец, чтобы Я совершил их, самые эти дела, которые Я творю, свидетельствуют о Мне, что Отец Меня послал. 37 И пославший Меня Отец — Он и засвидетельствовал о Мне. не хотите прийти ко Мне, чтобы иметь жизнь. 41 Славы от людей Я не принимаю, 42 но Я знаю вас, что любви Божией вы не имеете в себе. 43 Я пришел во имя Отца Моего, и вы не принимаете Меня; если другой придет во имя свое, того вы примете. 44 Как можете вы уверовать, если принимаете славу друг от друга, а славы, которая от единого Бога, не ищете? 45 Не думайте, что Я буду обвинять вас пред Отцом: есть обвинитель на вас — Моисей, на которого вы возложили упование. 46 Если бы вы верили Моисею, то верили бы и Мне, ибо о Мне он написал. 47 Если же вы его писаниям не верите, как Моим словам поверите?

1 После этого ушел Иисус на ту сторону моря Галилейского, или Тивериадского. 2 И следовало за Ним много народа, потому что видели знамения, которые Он творил над больными. 3 Иисус взошел на гору и там сидел с учениками Своими. 4 А была близко Пасха, праздник иудейский. 5 Иисус, подняв глаза и увидев, что много народа идет к Нему, говорит Филиппу: где бы нам купить хлебов, чтобы они поели? 6 Говорил же Он это, испытывая его, ибо Сам знал, что будет делать. 7 Ответил Ему Филипп: на двести динариев не достать для них хлебов, чтобы каждый получил хотя бы немного. 8 Говорит Ему один из учеников Его, Андрей, брат Симона Петра: 9 есть тут мальчик, и у него пять хлебов ячменных ι две рыбки. Но что это для такого множества? 10 Сказал Иисус: велите людям возлечь. Было на этом месте много травы. И так возлегли: мужчины числом около пяти тысяч. 11 Иисус взял хлебы и, воздав благодарение, раздал возлежащим; также и рыбок, сколько хотели. 12 Когда же они нюытились, говорит Он ученикам Своим: соберите оставшшся куски, чтобы ничего не пропало. 13 И собрали они и наполнили двенадцать коробов теми кусками от пяти хлебов ячменных, которые остались у евших. 14 Тогда люди, утдев знамение, сотворенное Им, стали говорить, что Он воистину тот пророк, который грядет в мир. 15 Сам же Иисус, узнав, что собираются прийти и захватить Его, чтобы сделать царем, удалился снова на гору один. 16 Когда же насгал вечер, спустились ученики Его к морю 17 и, сев в лодку, держали путь на ту сторону моря в Капернаум. И темнота уже наступила, и еще не приходил к ним Иисус. 18 И море, при сильном ветре, волновалось. 19 Итак, пройдя на веслах стадий около двадцати пяти или тридцати, видят они, что Иисус идет по морю и приближается к лодке, и испугались. 20 Он же говорит им: это Я, не бойтесь. 21 Хотели они взять Его в лодку, и тотчас лодка оказалась у земли, куда они плыли. 22 На другой день толпа, собравшаяся по ту сторону моря, увидела, что другой лодки, кроме одной, там не было, и что Иисус не входил в лодку вместе с учениками Своими, но ученики Его отправились одни. 23 Пришли другие лодки из Тивериады, 5лизко к тому месту, где ели хлеб по благодарении Господнем. 24 Когда же увидела толпа, что ни Иисуса там нет, ни учеников Его, сами сели они в лодки и пришли в Капернаум, ища Иисуса. 25 И, найдя Его по ту сторону моря, сказали Ему: Равви, когда Ты сюда прибыл? 26 Ответил им Иисус и сказал: истинно, истинно говорю вам: вы ищете Меня не потому, что видели знамения, а потому что поели хлебов и насытились. 27 Делайте себе не пищу тленную, не пищу, пребывающую в жизнь вечную, которую вам даст Сын Человеческий. Ибо Его запечатлел Отец Бог. 28 Тогда сказали они Ему: как нам поступать, чтобы делать дела Божии? 29 Ответил Иисус и сказал им: в том дело Божие, чтобы вы верили в Того, Кого послал Он. 30 Сказали Ему: какое же даешь Ты знамение, чтобы мы увидели и поверили Тебе? Everyone who hears from the Father and learns comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except Him who is of God: He has seen the Father. 47 Verily, verily, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. He who eats this bread will live forever. E-59 He said these things in the synagogue while teaching in Capernaum. 60 And many of his disciples said, 'This word is difficult.' Who can listen to him? 61 And Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were murmuring about this, said to them, 'Does this offend you?' E-62 What then, if you see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 The Spirit gives life, the flesh profiteth nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and this is life. 64 But there are some among you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who the unbelievers were, and who would betray him. 65 And he said, 'Therefore I have told you that no man can come to me except he is given to him by the Father.' 66 From that time many of his disciples fell behind, and went no more with him. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, 'Will you not also go away?' 68 And Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go?" Thou hast the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed and known that Thou art the Christ, the Holy One of God. 70 Jesus answered them, 'Have I not chosen you, the Twelve?' And one of you is the devil. 71 And he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. For he, one of the Twelve, was to betray Him.

1 And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee, for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 And the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, 3 His brethren said to him, 'Go from hence, and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do,4 for no one does anything in secret, but wants to be seen himself: if you do this, show yourself to the world.' 5 For even his brethren did not believe in him. 6 Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but there is always a time for you." 7 The world cannot hate you. But he hates me, because I bear witness of him that his works are evil. E-8 You're going to a feast. I will not go to this feast yet because My time has not yet come. 9 And when he had said these things to them, he remained in Galilee. 10 And when his brethren went to the feast, then he himself went, not openly, but as in secret. 11 And the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12 And there was much talk about him among the people. Some said: He is good; others said, "No, but he is misleading the people." 13 However, no one spoke openly about him for fear of the Jews. 14 When the feast was already halfway through,

Jesus went into the temple and taught. 15 And the Jews were amazed, saying, 'How does he know the Scriptures, without having passed through the teaching?' 16 Jesus answered them, and said, "My teaching is not mine, but Him who sent me." 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of this doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of Him who sent Him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. 19 Did not Moses give you the Law? And none of you keeps the Law. Why do you seek to kill Me? 20 And the people answered, 'The devil is in thee, who seeketh to kill thee?' 21 Jesus answered and said to them, 'I have done one thing, and you are all amazed at it.' 22 Moses gave you circumcision, not that it was from Moses, it was from the fathers, and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man. 23 If a man is circumcised on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made the whole man well on the Sabbath? 24 Judge not by appearance, but judge with righteous judgment. 25 And some of the people of Jerusalem said, 'Is this not the one whom they seek to kill?' 26 And behold, he speaks openly, and nothing is said to him. Did the rulers really know that this was Christ? E-27 But of Him we know whence He is. And when Christ comes, no one will know where He comes from. 28 And Jesus cried out in the temple, teaching, saying, 'You also know me, and you know whence I come, and I have not come from myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you do not know.' 29 I know Him because I am of Him, and He sent Me. 30 They sought to seize him, and no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come. 31 And many of the multitude believed on him, and said, 'When Christ comes, will he do more signs than this one did?' 32 And when the Pharisees heard these rumors about him in the multitude, the chief priests and the Pharisees sent ministers to seize him. 33 Then Jesus said, 'Yet a little while I am with you, and I am going to him who sent me; 34 ye shall seek me, and ye shall not find me; and where I am, there you cannot go. 35 And the Jews said to one another, 'Where is he going to go, that we shall not find him?' Is He not going to be scattered among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What is this word that He said, 'You will seek Me, and you will not find Me; and where am I, there you cannot go? 37 And on the last, great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If any man thirst, let him come to me and drink.' 38 Whosoever believeth on me, as the Scripture says, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. E-39 This He said about the Spirit that those who believe in Him were to receive. For there was no Spirit yet, because Jesus was not yet glorified. 40 And when some of the multitude heard these words, they said, 'This is indeed a prophet.' 41 Others said, "This is Christ." And others said, "Will Christ come from Galilee?" 42 Did not the Scriptures say that from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was, Christ would come? 43 And then there was a division in the crowd because of him: 44 some of them wanted to seize him, but no one laid hands on him. 45 So the officers came to the chief priests and the Pharisees, and they said to them, 'Why did you not bring him?' 46 And the ministers answered, "Never before has a man spoken like this man." 47 And the Pharisees answered them, 'Have you also been deceived?' E-48 Did any of the rulers believe in Him, or of the Pharisees? E-49 But this crowd that does not know the Law, they are cursed. 50 Nicodemus, who came to him before (he was one of them), said to them, 51 Does our law judge a man without hearing him first, and knowing what he is doing? 52 And they answered and said to him, 'Are you not also of Galilee?' Search and make sure that the prophet does not come from Galilee. 53 And they went every man to his own house.

He sat down and taught them. 3 And the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, and having placed her in the middle, 4 they said to him, 'Teacher, this woman has been caught in the place of adultery.' 5 And in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such ones. So, what do you say? 6 These things they spoke, tempting him, that they might have an accusation against him. Jesus, bending low, was writing on the ground with his finger. 7 A

and when they persisted in questioning Him, He lifted up His head and said to them, "Whoever is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone at her." 8 And again, bending down, he wrote on the ground. 9 And when they heard this, they began to depart, one by one, beginning with the elders, and only Jesus and the woman were left in the middle. 10 Jesus lifted up his head and said to her, 'Woman, where are they?' Did no one condemn you? 11 And she said, 'No one, Lord.' Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you." Go, sin no more from now on.] [114] 12 So Jesus said to them again, "I am the light of the world." He who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. 13 Then the Pharisees said to him, 'You bear witness to yourself.' Thy testimony is not true. 14 Jesus answered and said to them, "Though I bear witness of myself, my testimony is true, for I know whence I have come and whither I am going, but you do not know whence I have come or whither I am going. 15 You promise according to the flesh. I don't judge anyone. 16 But if I also judge, then my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am also He who sent Me. 17 And it is written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I bear witness of myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness of me. 19 Then they said to him, 'Where is your Father?' Jesus answered, "You do not know me, nor my Father." If ye knew me, ye would know my Father also. 20 These words he spake at the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no man has seized him, for his hour has not yet come. 21 Again he said to them, 'I am coming, and you will seek me, and in your sin you will die: whither I am going, you cannot go.' 22 And the Jews said at that time, 'Shall he not kill himself?' saying, 'Whither I am going, you cannot go?' 23 And he said to them, 'You are of the lowest, I am of the highest; you are of this world, I am not of this world. 24 And I have told you that you will die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I am, you will die in your sins. 25 And they said unto him, Who art thou? Jesus said to them, "What shall I speak to you about?" 26 Much must I speak and judge of you, but he who sent me is true, and what I have heard from him I say to the world. 27 They did not understand what he was saying to them about the Father. 28 Wherefore Jesus said, 'When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am, and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father hath taught me, thus I say.' 29 And He who sent Me is with Me: He has not left Me alone, for I always do that which is pleasing to Him. E-30 As He said this, many believed on Him. 31 And Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, 'If you continue in my word, you are indeed my disciples,32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.' 33 And they answered him, 'We are Abraham's seed, and we have never been slaves to anyone.' How then do You say, You will be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, "Verily, verily, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin." 35 But the servant does not abide in the house forever; The Son abides forever.
