Collected Works, Volume 1

Render to everyone what is due (Romans 13:7).

Glorify God both in your bodies and in your souls, which are God's (1 Cor. 6:20).

Whether you eat, drink, or do anything else, do all to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).

Watch, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, strong. Let all things be done with you with love (1 Cor. 16:13-14).

Christ died for all, so that those who live no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again (2 Cor. 5:5).

Whoever is in Christ is a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2).

In doing good, let us not lose heart, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint (Gal. 6:9).

Put off the old way of life of the old man, corrupting in deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, created according to God, in righteousness and holiness of truth (Ephesians 4:22-24).

Imitate God, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1).

Take heed, walk carefully, not as foolish, but as wise, valuing the time, for the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unreasonable, but know what is the will of God (Ephesians 5:15-17).

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:10-12).

Only live worthy of the gospel of Christ (Phil. 1:27).

Clothe yourselves, as God's elect, holy and beloved, in mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against anyone (Col. 3:12-13).
