Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

Joseph could no longer restrain himself in the presence of all those who stood near him, and cried out, "Take away all from me." And there was no one left with Joseph when he made himself known to his brethren.

And he wept aloud, and the Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.

And Joseph said to his brethren, 'I am Joseph, is my father still alive?' But his brothers could not answer him, because they were troubled before him.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come unto me. They approached. He said, "I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt;

but now grieve not, nor be sorry that you have sold me hither, for God has sent me before you to preserve your life;

For now are two years of famine in the land: there are still five years, in which they will neither plow nor reap;

God sent me before you to leave you on earth and keep you alive with a great deliverance.

Therefore it was not you who sent me hither, but God, who also made me father to Pharaoh, and lord in all his house, and ruler in all the land of Egypt.

Go quickly to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph: God hath made me lord over all Egypt; come to me, do not delay;

Thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen; And thou shalt be near me, thou, and thy sons, and the sons of thy sons, and thy flocks and herds, and all that is thine;

And I will feed thee there, for there shall be a famine for another five years, lest thou and thy house, and all thy things, become poor.

And behold, your eyes, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, see that it is my mouth that is speaking to you;

Tell my father therefore of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen, and bring my father hither quickly.

And he fell on the neck of Benjamin his brother, and wept; and Benjamin wept on his neck.
