21 The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Ashbel; [the sons of Bela were:] Gera and Naaman, Ehi and Rosh, Muppim and Huppim and Ard.

E-22 These are the sons of Rachel that was born to Jacob, fourteen souls in all.

23 Son of Dan: Hushim.

24 And the sons of Naphtali were Jachzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.

25 These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; and she bore them to Jacob, seven souls in all.

26 And all the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides the wives of the sons of Jacob, are sixty-six souls in all.

27 The sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt are two souls. All the souls of the house of Jacob that went over [with Jacob] to Egypt are seventy [five].

28 And he sent Judas before him to Joseph, that he might show the way to Goshen. And they came into the land of Goshen.

29 And Joseph harnessed his chariot, and rode out to meet Israel his father to Goshen, and when he saw him, he fell on his neck, and wept long on his neck.

30 And Israel said to Joseph, 'I will die now when I see your face, for you are still alive.'

31 And Joseph said to his brethren and to his father's house, 'I will go and tell Pharaoh, and I will say to him, 'My brethren and my father's house, which were in the land of Canaan, have come to me;

32 These men are shepherds of sheep, for they are herdsmen; and their flocks and herds, and all that they had, they brought.

33 If Pharaoh calls you and says, 'What is your occupation?'

34 then you shall say, 'We thy servants have been herdsmen from our youth until now, and we and our fathers, that you may dwell in the land of Goshen.' For every shepherd of sheep is an abomination to the Egyptians.
