Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

7 Thou hast made him ruler over the works of thy hands; He put everything under his feet.

8 and all the sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field;

9 The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that pass away by the paths of the sea.

10 O Lord our God! How majestic is Thy name throughout all the earth!

Psalm 9

1 To the head of the choir. After the death of Laben. Psalm of David.

2 I will praise [thee], O Lord, with all my heart, declaring all thy wonders.

3 I will rejoice and rejoice in you, I will sing to your name, O Most High.

4 When my enemies are turned back, they will stumble and perish before you,

5 for thou hast carried out my judgment and my lawsuit; Thou art seated on the throne, O righteous Judge.

6 Thou hast been indignant with the nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

7 The enemy hath no weapons at all, and thou hast destroyed the cities; their memory perished with them.

8 But the Lord abides for ever; He has prepared His throne for judgment;

9 And he will judge the world in righteousness, he will judge the nations in righteousness.

10 And the Lord shall be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble;

11 And they that know thy name shall trust in thee: for thou dost not forsake them that seek thee, O Lord.

12 Sing to the Lord who dwelleth in Zion, declare his works among the nations,

13 for he demands for blood; remembers them, does not forget the cry of the oppressed.

14 Have mercy on me, O Lord; Look upon my affliction at the hands of them that hate me, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,

15 that I may declare all thy praises in the gate of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

16 The nations fell into the pit which they had dug; in the snare which they hid, their foot was entangled.
