Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

21 deliver my soul from the sword, and my lonely one from dogs;

22 Save me from the mouth of the lion, and from the horns of the unicorns: when you hear, deliver me.

23 I will declare your name to my brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.

24 Those who fear the Lord! praise Him. All the seed of Jacob! glorify Him. Let all the seed of Israel fear him;

25 for he did not despise or despise the affliction of the afflicted, nor hid his face from him, but heard him when he cried unto him.

26 In thee is my praise in the great assembly; I will make my vows before them that fear him.

27 Let the poor eat and be satisfied; let those who seek Him praise the Lord; let your hearts live forever!

28 All the ends of the earth shall remember, and shall turn unto the Lord, and all the nations of the Gentiles shall worship before thee,

29 for the Lord is the kingdom, and he is Lord over the nations.

30 All the rich lands will eat and worship; all those who descend into the dust, and are not able to preserve their lives, will bow down before Him.

31 And [my] seed shall serve him, and shall be called the Lord's for ever;

32 They will come and declare His righteousness to the people who are born, what the Lord has made.

Psalm 22

Psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I won't want for anything:

2 He rests me in pastures of grass, and brings me to still waters,

3 He strengthens my soul, He directs me into the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

4 If I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff – they calm me.

5 Thou hast prepared a table before me in the sight of my enemies; anointed my head with oil; My cup is full.

6 Thus, may [Thine] goodness and mercy accompany me all the days of my life, and I will abide in the house of the Lord many days.
