Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

I have counsel and truth; I am the mind, I have the power.

By me kings reign, and rulers legitimize righteousness;

And the rulers and the nobles, and all the judges of the earth, rule over me.

Those who love me I love, and those who seek me will find me;

Riches and glory are with me, a treasure that does not perish, and righteousness;

My fruit is better than gold, and the purest gold, and I am more profitable than the choice silver.

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the paths of justice,

To give them that love me a great good, and their treasuries I fill. [When I declare the things that happen daily, I will not forget to count the things of the ages.]

The Lord had me as the beginning of his way, before his creatures, from time immemorial;

I have been anointed from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth was.

I was born when the deep did not yet exist, when there were no springs abounding in water.

I was born before the mountains were raised, before the hills,

when he had not yet created the earth, nor the fields, nor the primordial specks of dust of the world.

E-27 When He was preparing the heavens, I was there. As He drew a circular line across the face of the abyss,

when he established the clouds above, when he strengthened the fountains of the deep,

And when he gave the sea a statute, that the waters should not overstep the boundaries thereof, when he laid the foundations of the earth,

then I was a painter with him, and was a joy all the day, rejoicing in his presence all the time,

rejoicing in his earthly circle, and my joy was with the children of men.

Now, children, listen to me; and blessed are those who keep my ways!

Listen to the instruction and be wise, and do not depart from it.

Blessed is the man who heareth me, watching every day at my gates, and standing guard at my doors.
