Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

Pride will come, shame will come; but with the humble, wisdom. [A righteous man, when he dies, forsakes regret; but the destruction of the wicked is sudden and joyful.]

The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the wickedness of the deceitful will destroy them.

Riches will not avail in the day of wrath, but righteousness will save from death.

The righteousness of the blameless makes his way straight, but the wicked shall fall because of his wickedness.

The righteousness of the upright shall save them, but the wicked shall be caught by their iniquity.

With the death of the wicked man, hope is gone, and the expectation of the wicked is lost.

The righteous man is saved from trouble, but the wicked fall into it in his place.

With the mouth the hypocrite destroys his neighbor, but the righteous are saved by clairvoyance.

In the prosperity of the righteous the city rejoices, and in the destruction of the wicked there is rejoicing.

By the blessing of the righteous the city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed.

A foolish man expresses contempt for his neighbor; but a reasonable person is silent.

He who walks as a carrier reveals the mystery; But a faithful man conceals the cause.

With lack of care, the people fall, but with many counselors they prosper.

Evil is done to himself by him who vouches for a stranger; but he who hates the guarantee is safe.

A well-behaved wife gains glory [to the husband, but a wife who hates righteousness is the height of dishonor], but the industrious gain wealth.

A merciful man does good to his soul, but a hard-hearted man destroys his own flesh.

The wicked doeth an uncertain work, but he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.

Righteousness leads to life, but he who seeks evil seeks his own death.

An abomination to the Lord is those who are deceitful in heart; but those who are blameless in the way are pleasing to Him.

It can be guaranteed that the wicked will not go unpunished; but the seed of the righteous shall be saved.

As a gold ring is in the nose of a pig, so is a woman beautiful and foolish.
