Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

But the dove did not find a place of rest for his feet, and returned to him in the ark, for the water was still on the surface of the whole earth; And he stretched out his hand, and took him, and received him into his ark.

And he tarried for seven other days, and again let the dove out of the ark.

And the dove returned to him in the evening time, and behold, a fresh olive leaf was in his mouth, and Noah knew that the waters had come down from the earth.

And he tarried for seven more days, and let forth the dove; and he did not return to him.

In the six hundred and first year [of Noah's life] by the first [day] of the first month, the waters of the earth were dried up; And Noah opened the roof of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the earth was dry.

And in the second month, by the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried up.

And God said to Noah,

Come out of the ark thou and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee;

Thou shalt bring forth with thee all the beasts that are with thee, from all flesh, from the fowl, and from the cattle, and from every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth: let them disperse upon the earth, and let them be fruitful and multiply in the earth.

And Noah went out, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him;

All the beasts, and all the creeping things, and all the birds, every thing that moves on the earth, according to their kinds, went out of the ark.

And Noah built an altar to the Lord; And he took of every clean beast, and of every clean bird, and offered it for a burnt offering on the altar.

And the Lord smelled a sweet fragrance, and the Lord said in his heart, I will no more curse the earth for man's sake, for the thought of a man's heart is evil from his youth. and I will smite no more every living thing, as I have done, saying,

Henceforth, all the days of the earth, sowing and harvesting, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.
