Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

27 And he burned incense on it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

28 And he hung the curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle;

29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it burnt offerings and the meal offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

30 And he set the laver between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar, and poured water into it for the washing,

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet out of it.

32 And when they entered into the tabernacle of meeting, and came to the altar, they washed themselves, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

33 And he set the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and hung a curtain in the gate of the court. And so Moses finished the work.

34 And the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle;

35 And Moses could not enter into the Tabernacle of Meeting, because a cloud overshadowed it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

36 And it came to pass, when the cloud was lifted up from the tabernacle, that the children of Israel went forth all their journey;

37 And if the cloud did not rise, they did not depart until it rose,

38 For the cloud of the LORD stood over the tabernacle by day, and the fire was in it by night before the eyes of all the house of Israel all their journey.

The third book of Moses. Leviticus

Chapter 1

1 And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of meeting, saying,

2 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any of you will offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, if it be of cattle, thou shalt offer thy sacrifice of the cattle of herd and of the flock.

3 If his sacrifice be a burnt offering of the herds, he shall offer it of the male sex, without blemish; let him lead her to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, that he may gain favor with the Lord;

4 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and he shall find favor for the atonement of his sins.

5 And he shall kill the calf before the Lord; And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood on all sides upon the altar which is at the entrance of the tabernacle of meeting.

6 And he shall remove the skin from the burnt offering, and cut it in pieces;

7 And Aaron's sons the priests shall put fire upon the altar, and shall spread wood on the fire.
