Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

24 No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or he will be zealous for the one, and neglect the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your soul what ye shall eat or drink, nor for your body what ye shall wear. Is not the soul more than food, and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns; and your Father who is in heaven feeds them. Are you not much better than them?

27 And who of you, by care, can increase his stature by one cubit?

28 And why do you care about clothing? Look at the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

29 But I say unto you, Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like any of them;

30 But if the grass of the field, which is today and tomorrow is cast into the furnace, God so clothes it, how much more so do you, you of little faith!

31 Therefore do not be anxious, nor say, 'What shall we eat?' or what to drink? or what to wear?

32 because the Gentiles seek all these things, and because your Father who is in heaven knows that you have need of all these things.

33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of its own itself: for each day its care is sufficient.

Chapter 7

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged;

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured to you also.
