17 And they say, We have played unto you on the flute, and ye have not danced; We sang sad songs to you, and you did not weep.

18 For John came, neither eating nor drinking; And they say, 'A demon is in him.'

19 The Son of Man has come, eating and drinking; And they say, Behold a man who loves to eat and drink wine, a friend of publicans and sinners. And wisdom is justified by her children.

20 Then he began to rebuke the cities, in which his powers were most manifest, because they did not repent:

21 Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the powers which were manifested in you had been manifested in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes,

22 but I say unto you, Tyre and Sidon shall be more pleased in the day of judgment than unto you.

23 And thou, Capernaum, who hast ascended unto heaven, shalt thou descend unto hell: for if the powers manifested in thee had been manifested in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.

24 but I say unto you, that the land of Sodom shall be more pleasant in the day of judgment than unto thee.

25 At that time, continuing the speech, Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.

26 To her, Father! for such was Thy good pleasure.

27 All things have been delivered unto me by my Father, and no man knoweth the Son but the Father; and no one knows the Father except the Son, and to whom the Son wants to reveal.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest;

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
