(Luke 11:52): "Woe to you, lawyers, for you have taken the key of understanding: you yourselves did not enter, and hindered those who entered."

(Acts 18:5-6): "And when Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the spirit to bear witness to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ. But because they resisted and cursed, he shook off his garments, and said to them, Your blood is on your heads; I am pure; From now on I go to the Gentiles."

(Acts 20:26-27): "Therefore I testify to you this day that I am clean from the blood of all, for I have not failed to declare to you all the counsel of God."

Chapter 8. In reasoning that which is not clearly commanded in the Scriptures, it is necessary to exhort each one to the best.

(Matt. 19:12): "For there are eunuchs who were born of their mother's womb in this way; and there are eunuchs who are castrated from people; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever is able to contain it, let him contain it."

(1 Corinthians 7:25-27): "Concerning virginity I have not the command of the Lord, but I give advice, as one who has received from the Lord the mercy to be faithful to Him. Out of present necessity, I admit that it is good for a man to remain like this. Are you united with your wife? Do not seek a divorce. Was he left without a wife? do not seek a wife," and so on.

Chapter 9. It is not permissible to impute to others what one does not fulfill oneself.

Chapter 10. The head of the word must be an example of all good things for others, first doing what he teaches.

(Matt. 11:28-29): "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart."

(John 13:12-15): "And when He had washed their feet and put on His garments, He sat down again, and said to them, 'Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for I am exactly that. Therefore, if I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, then you also must wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you."
