Chapter 14. We must pray for success to those who believe and give thanks for it.

(John 17:20-21): "I pray not only for them, but also for those who believe in Me according to their word, that they may all be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so may they also be one in Us." And again (24): "Father! whom you have given me, I want them to be with me where I am."

(Luke 10:21): "At that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, 'I praise Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Yes, Father! For such was Thy good pleasure."

(Romans 1:8-10): "First of all, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, that your faith is proclaimed in all the world. God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that I constantly remember you, always asking in my prayers."

(Phil. 1:8-11): "God is a witness that I love you all through the love of Jesus Christ; and I pray that your love may increase more and more in knowledge and in every feeling, that, knowing the best, you may be pure and without stumbling in the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."

Chapter 15. Good works, accomplished by the grace of God, must also be made known to others for the glory of God.

(Luke 9:10): "The Apostles returned, and told Him what they had done."

(Acts 14:27): "When they arrived there and gathered the church, they told all that God had done to them."

(Ephesians 6:21-22): "And that you also may know of my circumstances and deeds, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, whom I have sent to you for this very reason, that you may know about us."

Chapter 16. We must take care not only of those who are present, but also of those who are absent, and we must do everything as the need of edification requires.

(John 10:16): "I have other sheep that are not of this fold, and these I must bring: and they will hear My voice, and there will be one flock and one Shepherd."

(1 Thessalonians 3:1-2): "Wherefore, no longer enduring, we desired to remain alone in Athens, and sent Timothy our brother, and our servant of God, and our co-worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen you and comfort you in your faith."
