The Old Testament (Part 1)

25 And it came to pass seven days after the Lord smote the river.

Chapter 8

1 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me;

2 but if thou wilt not let go, behold, I smite thy whole region with frogs;

3 And the river shall swarm with frogs, and they shall go out, and enter into thy house, and into thy bed, and into the houses of thy servants, and into thy people, and into thy furnaces, and into thy pots,

4 And on thee, and on thy people, and upon all thy servants, frogs shall rise.

5 And the LORD said to Moses, 'Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your rod into the rivers, and into the brooks, and into the lakes, and bring forth the frogs into the land of Egypt.'

6 Aaron stretched out his hand against the waters of Egypt; and the frogs went out and covered the land of Egypt.

7 And the Magi also did the same with their charms, and brought forth the frogs into the land of Egypt.

8 And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and said, Pray to the LORD, that he may remove the frogs from me and from my people, and I will release the children of Israel to offer sacrifice to the LORD.

9 Moses said to Pharaoh, 'Appoint for me when I will pray for you, for your servants, and for your people, that the frogs may perish from you [your people] in your houses, and remain only in the river.'

E-10 He said, "Tomorrow." Moses answered, "It shall be according to thy word, that thou mayest know that there is none like the Lord our God;

11 And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; Only in the river they will remain.

12 Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried out to the Lord for the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.
