A complete Orthodox prayer book. For every need

"The angel cried out to the Most Grace-filled: Pure Virgin, rejoice! And pour out the river: Rejoice! Thy Son is risen from the tomb for three days, and raised up dead; People, have fun!

Shine, shine, new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord has shone upon thee. Rejoice now and be glad, O Zion. And Thou, O Pure One, adorn thyself, O Theotokos, for the rising of Thy Nativity."

It is worthy to truly bless Thee, the Theotokos, the Ever-blessed and Immaculate, and the Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, Who gave birth to God the Word without corruption, the Mother of God, we magnify Thee.

Glory, and now:

Lord, have mercy (three times).

O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of Thy Most-Pure Mother, our venerable and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Prayers for the coming sleep

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer of the Beginning

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of Thy Most-Pure Mother, our venerable and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Glory to Thee, O our God, glory to Thee.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

From Pascha to Ascension, instead of this prayer, the troparion is read: "Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and giving life to those who are in the graves" (three times). From the Ascension to the Trinity, we begin our prayers with "Holy God...", omitting all the previous ones.

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere present and fulfills all things, the Treasure of good things and the Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all defilement, and save, O Blessed One, our souls.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (three times).

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; O Lord, forgive our iniquities; O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy name's sake.
