KATHISMA SEVENTH

End, O Sons of Korah, Psalm 46

2 Clap all tongues with your hands, cry out to God with a voice of joy. 3 For the Lord Most High is terrible, the great King over all the earth. 4 Subject men to us, and tongues under our feet: 5 Thou hast chosen for us Thy inheritance, the kindness of Jacob, which thou shalt love. 6 God has ascended with shouting, the Lord with a trumpet. 7 Sing to our God, sing, sing to our King, sing. 8 For God is King of all the earth, sing with understanding. 9 God reigns over the tongues, God sits on His holy throne. 10 The princes of the people are gathered together with God, Abraham. As God's dominion of the earth was exalted.

Psalm, Song of the Sons of Korah, Second Sabbath, 47

2 Great is the Lord, and praiseworthy is in the city of our God, in His holy mountain. 3 With the blessed joy of all the earth: the mountains of Zion, the ribs of the north, the city of the Great King. 4 We know that God is in his burdens, when He intercedes. 5 For behold, the kingdom of the land is assembled, and condescended together. 6 And when they saw this, they were amazed, they were troubled, they were astounded. 7 I received trembling: there are sicknesses that give birth. 8 With a stormy spirit thou hast crushed the ships of Tarshish. 9 As we have heard, so we have seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God, God is the foundation and for ever. 10 O God, we have received thy mercy in the midst of thy people. 11 In thy name, O God, so also is thy praise to the ends of the earth, thy right hand to fill righteousness. 12 Let Mount Zion rejoice, and let the daughters of Judah's destinies rejoice for Thy sake, O Lord. 13 Go round Zion, and embrace her, lead her into her pillars. 14 Set your hearts in his power, and divide his houses, as he may lead in another generation. 15 For he is our God for ever, and for ever and ever, he will shepherd us for ever.

In the end, by the son of Korah, Psalm 48

2 Ye shall hear these things, and inspire all ye that dwell in the worlds: 3 And the earth-born, and the sons of mankind, together rich and poor. 4 My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the teaching of my heart understanding. 5 I will incline my ear to the parable, I will open my chant in the psalter. 6 Am I afraid, in the day of fierceness? The iniquity of my heel shall overtake me. 7 They that trust in their strength, and boast of the abundance of their riches, 8 a brother shall not deliver, shall a man deliver? He will not give God treason for himself, 9 and the price of the deliverance of his soul, and he will labor forever. 10 And he shall live to the end, and shall not see destruction. 11 When the wise see them dying, they shall perish together with the foolish and foolish, and leave their riches to strangers. 12 And their graves are their dwellings for ever, their dwellings for generations and generations, and they have called their names in the lands. 13 And a man in this honor is not understanding, be joined to the senseless beasts, and be like unto them. 14 This is their way a stumbling block unto them, and for this in their mouths they are well pleased. 15 As the sheep are laid in hell, death will I serve, and they have the right in the morning, and their help is promised in hell, because of their glory they have been spared. 16 And God shall deliver my soul out of the hand of hell, when he receiveth me. 17 Do not be afraid, when a man becomes rich, or when the glory of his house increases: 18 For when he dies, he will not take it all, his glory will descend with him. 19 For his soul in his life shall be blessed: Thou shalt be known unto Thee, when Thou hast done good unto him. 20 He shall enter even into his generation, and shall not see the light for ever. 21 And a man in honor without understanding, be joined to senseless beasts, and be likened unto them.

Glory:
