«...Иисус Наставник, помилуй нас!»

The prayer of St. St. Basil the Great: "O Lord, Lord Jesus Christ our God, Who hast long endured our sins and hast preserved us until this hour, in which, hanging on the life-giving Tree, Thou hast opened the way to paradise for the wise thief and destroyed death by death. Have mercy on us, Thy sinful and unworthy servants, for we have sinned, and have done iniquity, and are unworthy to lift up our eyes, and to look upon the heights of heaven, for we have forsaken the way of Thy righteousness, and have walked according to the will of our hearts. But we beseech Thy immeasurable goodness: have mercy on us, O Lord, according to Thy great mercy, and save us for the sake of the blessing of Thy Holy Name, for in light-mindedness our days have perished. Deliver us from the hand of the adversary, forgive us our sins and put to death our carnal thoughts, so that, having taken off the old man, we may put on the new and live for Thee, our Lord and Benefactor, and, following Thy commandments, thus reach the place of eternal rest, where all those who rejoice are dwelled. For Thou art indeed the true gladness and joy of those who love Thee, O Christ our God, and we send glory to Thee, with Thy Father without beginning, and Thy All-Holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of eternity. Amen."

Psalms: 102 (p. 27) and 145: "Praise, my soul. Gentlemen. I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing to my God as long as I exist. Do not put your trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit goes out, and he returns to his land; By that day all his thoughts are gone. Blessed is he whose Helper is the God of Jacob, who has hope in the Lord his God, who created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who is forever faithful, who does justice to the oppressed, who gives bread to the hungry. The Lord looses the prisoners, the Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord raises up the bent. The Lord loves the righteous. The Lord preserves the strangers, supports the fatherless and the widow, but perverts the way of the wicked. The Lord will reign forever. Thy God, O Zion, for generations and generations."

Glory is also now: "Only-begotten Son and Word of God, Immortal, Who deigned for our salvation to be incarnated from the Holy Mother of God and the Eternal Virgin Mary, Who immutably became man, Who was crucified and by His death conquered death, Christ God, One of the Holy Trinity, glorified as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit, save us."
