As can be seen, this kathisma did not differ in the manner of its performance from the psalms-antiphons of the hymned vespers. Its only difference was that after the "glory" there were no small litanies, as was customary at the hymn of vespers after each psalm-antiphon.

The lamp psalms were sung in exactly the same way. The following verses were not sung in their entirety, but were sung antiphonally with special refrains:
