Interpretation of the Gospel of John
for I know whence I came
459
and whither I go;
460
but you do not know whence I am and whither I am going.
461
I don't judge anyone.
462
And if I judge, my judgment is true;
463
for I am not alone, but I am also the Father who sent me.
464
And it is written in your law that the testimony of two men is true (Deuteronomy 19:15).
465
I bear witness to myself,
466
and the Father who sent me bears witness of me.
467
I will make you the light of the nations.
468
Then they said to Him, "Where is Thy Father?"
469
Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My Father;
470
if you had known me, you would have known my Father also.
471
These are the words Jesus spoke at the treasury...
472
and no man took him;
473
for His hour has not yet come.
474
Again Jesus said to them, I am departing;
475
and you will seek me,
476
and you will die in your sin.
