so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.

And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I will not judge him;

for I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

He who rejects Me and does not receive My words has a judge for himself:

the word that I have spoken, it will judge him at the last day.

776

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent Me, He gave Me a commandment what to say and what to say.

And I know that His commandment is eternal life.

So what I say, I say, as the Father told Me.

Before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that His hour had come to pass from this world to the Father,

He showed by His deed that having loved His own who are in the world, He loved them to the end.

And during the supper,

when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot of Simon to betray him,

Jesus, knowing that the Father had put all things into His hands,

784

and that he came forth from God, and departs to God;

785

He got up from the supper, took off His outer garment

and taking a towel, he girded himself.
