27 Then he said, 'I beseech you, father, send him to my father's house,

28 For I have five brothers; let him testify to them, so that they also do not come to this place of torment.

29 Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them listen to them.

30 And he said, 'No, Father Abraham, but if any man from the dead comes to them, they will repent.'

31 Then *Abraham* said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, even if someone were to rise from the dead, they will not believe.'

1 And *Jesus* said to the disciples, It is impossible not to come to stumblings, but woe to him through whom they come;

2 It would have been better for him that a millstone had been hung around his neck, and cast him into the sea, than that he had offended one of these little ones.

3 Watch yourselves. But if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him;

4 And if he sins against you seven times a day, and turns seven times a day, and says, I repent, forgive him.

5 And the apostles said to the Lord, 'Increase faith in us.'

6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, and said unto this fig tree, Be plucked up, and be transplanted into the sea, it would have obeyed you.

7 Which of you, having a servant ploughing or shepherding, when he returns from the field, will say to him, 'Go quickly, sit down at table?'

8 On the contrary, will he not say to him, 'Prepare me for supper, and gird yourself up, serve me while I eat and drink, and then eat and drink yourself?'

9 Will he thank this servant for having done what he was commanded? I don't think so.

10 In the same way, when you have done all that is commanded you, say, We are worthless servants, because we have done what we ought to have done.

11 And when he was going up to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.

12 And as he was entering into a certain village, there met him ten men of lepers, who had stopped afar off

13 And with a loud voice they said, 'Jesus the Teacher! have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said to them, Go and show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice,
