10 then let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, he is set before you in health.

11 He is a rock, despised by you who build it, but has become the head of the corner, and there is no salvation in any other,

12 For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.

13 And when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and saw that they were unlettered and simple men, they were amazed, and yet they recognized them, that they were with Jesus;

14 And when they saw the healed man standing with them, they could say nothing in spite of them.

15 And having commanded them to go out of the Sanhedrin, they reasoned among themselves,

E-16 saying, 'What shall we do with these people?' For all who dwell in Jerusalem know that they have performed a manifest miracle, and we cannot deny it;

17 But that this may not be made known any more among the people, we will forbid them with a threat, that they should not speak of this name to any man.

18 And having called them, they commanded them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, 'Judge, is it right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God?'

20 We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.

21 And they, having threatened, sent them away, not finding a way to punish them, because of the people; because everyone glorified God for what had happened.

22 For the man was more than forty years old, upon whom this miracle of healing was performed.

23 And when they were dismissed, they came to their own people, and related what the chief priests and the elders had told them.
