21Не всякий, говорящий Мне: «Господи! Господи!“, войдет в Царство Небесное, но тот лишь, кто исполняет волю Отца Моего Небесного. 22 Многие скажут Мне в День Суда[72]а: «Господи! Господи! Не от Твоего разве имени пророчествовали мы[73]б и не Твоим ли именем изгоняли бесов, не им ли много чудес[74]в совершили?“ 23 И тогда объявлю им: «Я никогда вас не знал. Отойдите от Меня, живущие беззаконно[75]!“

Притча о двух строителях

24 Итак, всякого, кто слушает и исполняет эти слова Мои, можно сравнить с благоразумным человеком, который построил свой дом на скале. 25Хоть и пролился дождь, вышли из берегов реки, подули ветры и обрушилось всё это на дом тот, но не упал он, потому что поставлен был на скале. 26А того, кто слушает эти слова Мои, но их не исполняет, сравнить можно с человеком безрассудным, построившим дом свой на песке. 27Пролился дождь, вышли из берегов реки, подули ветры, и под натиском их рухнул тот дом. Страшным было это падение![76]»

Сила слов Иисуса

28Иисус закончил говорить, народ же не переставал дивиться тому, как и чему Он учил: 29как имеющий власть учил Он их, а не как книжники.

Исцеление прокаженного

8 Когда сошел Иисус с горы, за Ним последовало множество народа. 2 И тут подошел к Нему прокаженный; упав пред Ним на колени, он сказал: «Господи! Ты ведь можешь меня очистить, если захочешь».

3 Jesus reached out and touched him. "I do," He said. And immediately he was cleansed of leprosy[77]. 4 "Take heed that you speak to no man," Jesus said to him, "but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the sacrifice which Moses commanded, that the other priests may also be convinced that you are healed."

Centurion's Faith

5When Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him with a request. 6"Lord! he said. "My servant, stricken with paralysis, lies at home and suffers terribly."

7 "I will come and heal him," Jesus said to him.

8"Lord," replied the centurion, "I am not worthy that You should come into my house. But speak only the word, and my servant will be healed. 9For I myself am under my command, and at the same time I have soldiers under my command. When I say to one of them: "Go!" – he goes, to the other: "Come here!" – and he comes, I say to my servant: "Do this!" – and he does."

10When Jesus heard this, he was delighted and said to those who followed him: "Indeed, I have not found such faith in anyone in Israel. 11But I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12And those who were to inherit the kingdom[78]a will be cast down into darkness,[79]b where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

13"Go! Jesus said to the centurion. "Let it be to you according to your faith." And [his] servant was healed in the same hour.
