21 Thou didst do this, and I was silent; you thought I was just like you. I will expose thee, and set thee before thy eyes.

22 Understand this, you who forget God, lest I take away, and there will be no one to deliver.

23 Whoever offers a sacrifice of praise honors me, and whoever watches his way will show him the salvation of God."

Psalm 50

1 To the head of the choir. Psalm of David,

2 And it came to pass, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after David had gone unto Bathsheba.

3 Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the multitude of Thy mercies, blot out my iniquities.

4 Wash me many times from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin,

5 For I am conscious of my iniquities, and my sin is always before me.

6 Unto thee alone have I sinned, and have done evil in thy sight, so that thou art righteous in thy judgment, and pure in thy judgment.

7 Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and in sin my mother bore me.

8 Behold, thou hast loved the truth in thy heart, and hast shewed unto me within me wisdom.

9 Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

10 Let me hear joy and gladness, and the bones that Thou hast broken shall rejoice.

11 Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

12 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

13 Cast me not away from thy presence, neither take away thy Holy Spirit from me.

14 Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and strengthen me by the Spirit of sovereignty.

15 I will teach the wicked thy ways, and the wicked shall turn unto thee.

16 Deliver me from blood, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall praise thy righteousness.

17 Lord! Open my mouth, and my mouth shall declare Thy praise.
