5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they shall praise thee without ceasing.

6 Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee, and whose paths are directed to Thee in his heart.

7 Passing through the valley of weeping, they open springs in it, and the rain covers it with blessing;

8 come from strength to power, appear before God in Zion.

9 O Lord God Almighty! Hear my prayer, hearken, O God of Jacob!

10 O God, our defender! Bow down and look upon the face of Thy anointed.

11 For one day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be at the threshold in the house of God than live in the tents of wickedness.

12 For the Lord God is the sun and the shield, the Lord giveth grace and glory; He does not deprive those who walk in chastity of blessings.

13 O Lord of hosts! Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalm 84

1 To the head of the choir. Sons of Korah. Psalm.

2 Lord! Thou hast had compassion on Thy land, Thou hast restored the captivity of Jacob;

3 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, hath covered all their sins,

4 I have taken away all Thy wrath, I have turned away the fierceness of Thy wrath.

5 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cease thy indignation against us.

6 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever, that thou wilt extend thy wrath from generation to generation?

7 Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

8 Show us, O Lord, thy mercy, and grant us thy salvation.

9 I will hear what the Lord God says. He will say peace to His people and to His elect, but let them not fall into folly again.

10 Thus, his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

11 Mercy and truth shall meet, righteousness and peace shall kiss each other;
