30 Do not quarrel with a man without cause, when he has done you no harm.

31 Do not compete with a man who acts violently, and do not choose any of his ways;

32 for he is an abomination in the sight of the Lord, but he has fellowship with the righteous.

33 The curse of the Lord is upon the house of the wicked, but he blesseth the dwelling place of the godly.

34 If He laughs at blasphemers, He gives grace to the humble.

35 The wise shall inherit glory, but the foolish shall inherit disgrace.

7 Wisdom is the main thing: acquire wisdom, and with all your possessions acquire understanding.

8 Esteem her highly, and she will exalt you; she will glorify you if you cling to her;

9 He will put a beautiful wreath on your head, He will bring you a magnificent crown.

10 Hear, my son, and receive my words, and the years of life shall be multiplied unto thee.

11 I show thee the way of wisdom, I lead thee in straight paths.

12 When you go, your progress will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble.

13 Hold fast to the instruction, do not forsake it, keep it, for it is your life.

14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, nor walk in the way of the wicked;
