25 And the hail smote all that was in the land of Egypt, from man to cattle, and smote all the grass of the field, and broke all the trees of the field.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel lived, was there no hail.

27 And Pharaoh sent, and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, 'This time I have sinned; The Lord is righteous, but I and my people are guilty;

28 Pray to the Lord, that the thunders of God and the hail [and the fire on the earth] may cease, and I will let you go, and I will no longer hold you back.

29 And Moses said unto him, 'As soon as I go out of the city, I will stretch out my hands to the LORD, and the thunders shall cease, and the hail [and rain] shall be no more, that thou mayest know that the earth is the Lord's;

30 but I know that you and your servants will not yet fear the Lord God.

31 Flax and barley were slain, because the barley had broken out, and the flax had been inseminated;

32 And the wheat and the spelt were not beaten, because they were late.

33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and stretched out his hands to the Lord, and the thunder and hail ceased, and the rain ceased to pour down on the earth.

34 And Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and the thunder had ceased, and that he continued to sin, and that he and his servants had hardened his heart.

35 And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not let the children of Israel go, as the Lord had spoken through Moses.

Chapter 10

1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Come in unto Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart, and the hearts of his servants, that I may manifest these signs of mine among them,

2 And that thou shalt tell thy son, and thy son's son, of the things which I have done in Egypt, and of the signs of mine which I have shewed therein, and that ye may know that I am the Lord.
