Chapter 39

And of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made garments for the service of the sanctuary; and they made holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And he made the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of fine woven linen;

And they broke the gold into plates, and drew out the threads, to weave them between the blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen threads, with workmanship.

And they made his shoulder plates to bind; at both ends he was bound.

And the girdle of the ephod, which was over it, of the same workmanship, was made of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine woven linen, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And they made the stones of onyx, and set them in sockets of gold, and engraved on them the names of the children of Israel, as they engrave on seals;

And he put them on the shoulder plates of the ephod, in remembrance of the children of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And he made the breastplate a workmanship of workmanship, the same work as the ephod, of gold, and of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of fine woven linen;

it was quadrangular; they made a double breastplate a span long and a span wide, it was double;

And they set stones in it in four rows. Nearby: ruby, topaz, emerald – this is the first row;
