22 But I say unto you, Whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be subject to judgment; And whosoever shall say unto his brother, Raka, shall be subject to the Sanhedrin; And whosoever shall say, Foolish, shall be subject to hell fire.
23 If, therefore, thou bringest thy gift unto the altar, and there thou rememberest that thy brother hath something against thee,
24 Leave thy gift there before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
25 Make peace with your adversary quickly, while you are still on the way with him, lest the adversary deliver you up to the judge, and the judge deliver you up to the servant, and cast you into prison.
26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt not come out of thence until thou hast given up to the last codrant.
27 You have heard that it was said to the ancients, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery.'
28 But I say unto you, Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 But if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee, for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It is also said that if a man divorce his wife, he shall give her a bill of divorce.
32 But I say unto you, Whosoever divorceth his wife, besides the guilt of adultery, giveth her cause to commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
33 And ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not transgress thy oaths, but thou shalt keep thy oaths before the Lord.
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
35 Nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet. nor Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King;
