41 Watch and pray, that ye may not fall into temptation: the spirit is strong, but the flesh is weak.
42 Again, having departed another time, he prayed, saying, 'My Father! if this cup cannot pass from Me, that I may not drink it, Thy will be done.
43 And when he came, he found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
44 And leaving them, he went away again, and prayed a third time, saying the same word.
45 Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, 'Are you still asleep and resting?' behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners;
46 Arise, let us go: behold, he who betrays me is at hand.
47 And while he was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a multitude of people with swords and stakes, from the chief priests and the elders of the people.
48 And he who betrayed him made a sign to them, saying, 'Whom I will kiss, this is the one, take him.'
49 And straightway he came up to Jesus, and said, "Hail, Rabbi! And he kissed Him.
50 And Jesus said to him, 'Friend, why have you come?' Then they came and laid their hands on Jesus, and took Him.
51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
52 Then Jesus said to him, 'Put your sword back in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword;
53 Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will give Me more than twelve legions of Angels?
54 How then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?
