In the house his disciples again asked him the same thing.

And he said unto them, Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, shall commit adultery with her;

And if a woman divorces her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.

And they brought children unto him, that he might touch them; but the disciples did not admit those who brought them.

And when Jesus saw this, he was indignant, and said to them, "Suffer the little children to come to me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God."

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever receiveth not the kingdom of God as a little child shall not enter into it.

And having embraced them, he laid his hands on them and blessed them.

And as he was going out on his way, a man ran up, and fell on his knees before him, and asked him, 'Good teacher! What must I do to inherit eternal life?

Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call me good?' No one is good but God alone.

Thou knowest the commandments, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not offend thy father and mother.

And he answered and said unto him, 'Master! all these things I have preserved from my youth.

And when Jesus looked upon him, he loved him, and said to him, 'There is one thing that you lack: go, sell all that you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.

And he, troubled at this word, departed with sorrow, because he had great possessions.

And Jesus looked around, and said to his disciples, 'How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God!'
