51 And when the days of his taking away from the world drew nigh, he desired to go up to Jerusalem;

52 And he sent messengers before his face; and they went and entered into the village of the Samaritans; to prepare for Him;

53 but they did not receive him there, because he had the appearance of going to Jerusalem.

54 And when his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, 'Lord! Do you want us to say that fire should come down from heaven and destroy them, as Elijah did?

55 But he turned to them, and rebuked them, saying, 'You do not know what kind of spirit you are;

56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy the souls of men, but to save them. And they went to another village.

57 And it came to pass that while they were on the way, a man said to him, 'Lord! I will follow You wherever You go.

58 Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay His head.

59 And to another he said, 'Follow me.' He said: Lord! let me go first and bury my father.

60 But Jesus said to him, 'Let the dead bury their dead, and you go and preach the kingdom of God.'

61 And another said, 'I will follow thee, O Lord!' but first let me bid farewell to my household.

62 But Jesus said to him, "No one who has put his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."

7 And in that house ye shall remain, and eat and drink what they have: for he that laboureth is worthy of the reward of his labours; Do not move from house to house.

8 And if you come to any city, and receive you, eat what is set before you,
