and ye shall eat there before the LORD your God, and ye and your families shall rejoice in all that hath been done by your hands, wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

There you must not do everything as we do here now, every one that seems right to him;

for you have not yet entered into the place of rest, and into the inheritance which the LORD your God is giving you.

But when you have passed over the Jordan, and have settled in the land which the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance, and when he has given you rest from all your enemies that are round about you, and you have lived in safety,

then whatever place the LORD your God chooses to dwell his name there, there you shall bring all that I command you [today]: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the lifting up of your hands, and all that you have chosen according to your vows, which you have promised to the LORD.

And rejoice in the sight of the LORD your God, you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your male and female servants, and the Levite who is in the midst of your gates, for he has no portion or inheritance with you.

Take heed to offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see;

but in the place which the LORD [thy God] shall choose in one of thy tribes, thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and thou shalt do all that I command thee.

And when thy soul willeth, thou shalt kill it, and eat it, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God, the flesh which he hath given thee, in all thy gates: the unclean and the clean may eat it as a gazelle and as a deer;

Only you shall not eat blood: you shall pour it out on the ground as water.

Thou shalt not eat in thy gates the tithes of thy bread, and thy wine, and thy oil, and the firstlings of thy herds, and thy flocks, and all thy vows which thou hast promised, and thy voluntary offerings, and the lifting up of thy hands;

But thou shalt eat these things before the LORD thy God, in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, which is within thy gates, and thou shalt rejoice in the sight of the LORD thy God in all that hath been done by thy hands.

See that you do not forsake the Levite all the days [that you live] in your land.

And when the LORD thy God hath enlarged thy boundaries, as he hath said unto thee, and thou shalt say, 'I shall eat flesh,' because thy soul desires to eat flesh, then thou shalt eat flesh according to thy soul's desire.
